Dexter is a narrative and research specialist for a leading, global cultural consultancy. He creates engaging and accessible stories for cultural projects worldwide by interpreting primary and secondary source material. He is involved in all aspects of exhibition development – from initial research and audience engagement to final scripting and fabrication.

With a background in early modern history, Dexter has studied at St. Catherines College, Oxford and the University of Bristol. He has written historical articles for a range of publications, both academic and popular.

In addition to his full-time role, Dexter has extensive freelance experience across the cultural and charity sectors, uncovering crucial details that can support the development and successful delivery of diverse projects.​
